Merry Christmas

Although I haven't done a lot of knitting as of late except for a few oversized scarves for gifts, I've been side tracked baking and making festive treats.

Winchester Fashion Week

Recently my collection was in Winchester Fashion Week, and the girls who put it on did a fantastic job on the Cirque Du Fashion shows.

Pre-Collection

Merino Oversized diamond ruffles zip dress with patent leather detail.

Yak and Merino wool strap top and merino diamond shima trousers.

   

Kid silk mohair fluffy lycra trousers, waistcoat and snood.

Sewing Box

Although this hasn't got anything to do with knitting, the other week I found my Nans sewing box and found some things she had from when she owned a haberdashery. I really liked the needle packets, and old cotton reels. Also I think everythings better in black and white.

New Designers!!

Now that my feet have recovered (heels on the longest day not a good idea) This is my work at New Designers 2011 week 1.

Illustrations

I'm not amazing at drawing. For my final project I used black ink on brown envelopes and paper, it kinda  soaks up the ink nicely. Also collage with photocopies of my samples.

Hi I'm a knitted textiles designer just about to finish my degree.

I thought I'd put up a few pics of my final samples from my final project. I like to use alot of texture
in my samples.

 This was made on a shima out of merino wool.
